If you've found your way here, chances are you're looking for answers about your skin. Perhaps you've been struggling with acne that's affecting your confidence. Maybe you've developed rosacea or pigmentation and don't know where to start. Or perhaps you're noticing the natural changes that come with time and want to care for your skin in a way that feels informed, natural and right for you.
Whatever has brought you here, welcome.
For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to help people. I became a doctor because I loved science, but I became passionate about dermatology because I experienced first-hand just how much our skin can affect the way we feel about ourselves.
As a teenager and throughout much of my twenties, I struggled with severe acne. I know what it's like to dread looking in the mirror, to overanalyse every new spot, and to wonder if your skin will ever improve. That experience has stayed with me throughout my career and shaped the way I care for every patient I meet.
Today, after 11 years working in dermatology, I still believe that the most important part of any consultation is listening. I want to understand what concerns you, what you've already tried, what you're hoping to achieve, and how your skin is affecting your everyday life. Only then can we decide, together, the best way forward.
I created The Skin Shed because I wanted to build something that reflects the way I believe skin care should be.
A place where evidence comes before trends. Where education is just as important as treatment. Where you're never made to feel embarrassed about your skin or pressured into treatments you don't need.
My philosophy is simple: skin health comes first. Protection, resilience, and genuine collagen health are the foundation everything else is built on. Treatments like collagen stimulation, skin boosters, and regenerative approaches only make sense once those foundations are respected, not as a substitute for them.
This isn't a typical aesthetics clinic. I'm not here to change your features. I'm here to help your skin be as healthy, resilient, and well cared for as it can be, at whatever stage of life you're in.
While much of what I offer is designed with midlife skin in mind, healthy skin matters at every age. Whether you're navigating acne in your twenties or noticing the first signs of collagen loss in your fifties, the same principle applies: understand your skin, protect it, and only then decide what more it might benefit from.
Whether you're looking for help with acne, rosacea, pigmentation, healthier skin or support in ageing well, my goal is always the same: to help you understand your skin, so you can make confident decisions about caring for it.
Sometimes that might mean a simple skincare routine. Sometimes it might involve treatments such as microneedling, collagen stimulation, skin boosters or anti-wrinkle treatments. Whatever we decide, my approach will always be thoughtful, personalised and focused on achieving healthy, natural-looking results.
I hope that when you leave The Skin Shed, you don't just leave with a treatment plan. I hope you leave feeling heard. I hope you leave feeling understood. And most of all, I hope you leave with confidence, not just in your skin, but in knowing how to care for it.
I'm so pleased you're here, and I look forward to being part of your skin journey.
